Kaarlo Kramsu(1855-1895)
I love you always, girl black-haired
and blue-eyed, of women the most wonderful.
You are the fairest flower of my life's path,
you are the most blazing feeling of my heart.
To your chamber silently, with dove-wings,
my thought often hastens.
I myself there shall still once sneak,
ask you to be my wife - if I can't get others.
(Tyttö mustatukka, from Runoelmia, 1887.)
