Evening star on the sky,
my nightly friend,
tell, did at window see
awake my maiden?
Did she captivated gaze
on the sky, like at old we did,
did she with prayers remember me
when at late went to sleep?
Take my greetings,
tender messages to a friend
tell, say that the heart of mine
to her beats - solely her.
